Happy Engineers Day
ÇATES celebrated December 5th World Engineers Day. World Engineers' Day, which is celebrated every year on December 5 in Turkey, was celebrated at ÇATES by presenting agendas specially prepared for our engineers and a congratulatory note from our General Manager Hamdi Alp. In his note, Alp touched upon the contributions of our engineers to society and industry; "I congratulate World Engineers Day to all my engineer friends who produce shoulder to shoulder with us in our institution that shapes our future," he said. Engineers' Day was celebrated for the first time in 1878 with the establishment of the first engineers' association in Zagreb.
